About Arindam Sengupta

Architecture for the enterprise we are becoming.

My foundation is enterprise data architecture: designing the trusted information, governance and platform capabilities on which complex organisations depend.

My focus is expanding from project architecture to portfolio architecture—and from managing technology to redesigning how enterprise knowledge work happens. That means treating platforms, standards, organisational topology, FinOps, procurement leverage and concentration risk as one connected system.

What I examine

  • Enterprise bets and portfolio trade-offs
  • Trusted context and data products
  • Governed agentic systems
  • Platform convergence and reuse
  • Financial architecture and FinOps
  • Operating models and decision rights

What I optimise for

  • Enterprise leverage over local optimisation
  • Explicit economics over hidden cost
  • Governed autonomy over uncontrolled automation
  • Durable capability over one-off delivery
  • Strategic optionality over accidental lock-in
  • Clarity of accountability over process theatre

The executive narrative
