Metakera / Executive Architecture
Enterprise bets for AI-ready organisations.
Building AI-ready enterprises through trusted context, operational integration, and governed agentic systems.
Beyond solutions
Architecture changes when the unit of decision is the portfolio.
Metakera is my working notebook for the choices behind transformation: what to converge, what to reuse, where to retain optionality, and how technical design reshapes financial and organisational outcomes.
The aim is not to celebrate technology. It is to make better enterprise bets—explicit about value, operating consequences, concentration risk, and the institutional capabilities required to sustain them.
The agenda
Six connected enterprise bets
Trusted context
Data products, metadata, semantics and governance that make enterprise knowledge usable by people and agents.
Governed agency
Autonomy boundaries, evidence, auditability and human responsibility for agentic systems operating at scale.
Platform leverage
Reuse, convergence and standards that convert isolated delivery into cumulative enterprise capability.
Financial architecture
Unit economics, FinOps, procurement leverage, option value and exit costs designed alongside the technology.
Organisational topology
Team boundaries, decision rights and operating models aligned to the flow of value and knowledge.
Risk concentration
Systemic dependencies across providers, control planes, skills and data—made visible before they become constraints.
How I think
01 — Frame the bet
Name the strategic choice, the value mechanism, the assumptions and the alternatives—not just the proposed solution.
02 — Design the portfolio
Optimise the interactions among platforms, investments, vendors, teams and risks rather than each initiative in isolation.
03 — Build the operating system
Make standards, controls, funding and accountability executable so that good decisions can repeat without heroic effort.
